The Fundy Trail Parkway is a 30 kilometer-long scenic parkway in the Atlantic Canadian province of New Brunswick along the coast of the Bay of Fundy.

Stops along the way

Salmon River Suspension Bridge

• When passing through Salmon River, be sure to stop at the suspension bridge with beautiful views of the landscape and just underneath the rushing waters from the river. Located a short walk from the main parking lot.

Martin Head Lookout

• A quick stop to soak in the views of the Fundy coastal drive! Be sure to grab some pictures with the perfect backdrop!

Walton Glen Observation Deck

•  If you have 40 minutes to spare, this short hike will lead you to the "Grand Canyon" of New Brunswick! A must see when travelling through the area.

Town of Alma

• Grab a bite to eat at the Alma Lobster Shop where they have LOBSTER ROLLS! Be sure to explore Almas Fisherman’s wharf, where you can best gain a real appreciation of the Bay of Fundy tides. The highest in the world. At low tide, the fishing boats rest far below the surface of the wharf in cradles on the ocean’s floor. If you visit during low tide, try to find some seashells!

Fundy's Cape Enrage 

• Take a little detour to see the Cape Enrage Lighthouse that offers quite the spectacular views of the Bay of Fundy. A lighthouse you don't want to miss!

After the drive through Fundy Trail Parkway, you're probably thinking the views can't get better than that! But this provincial park will leave you with once-in-a-lifetime experiences and tide changes you've never seen.

Tide Schedules

• Before you plan your day, be sure to check out the tide schedules for July 11th so that you can enjoy both low tide and high tide when you visit!

 "Kayak The Rocks" High Tide Tour-$86.01 per person

• Our signature "Kayak the Rocks" High Tide tour lets you paddle through the giant "Flower Pot" rock formations of Hopewell Rocks provincial park, which just a few hours before were fully uncovered. Earliest tour for July 11th is at 10:55am and latest is at 1:25pm

Mid Tide Coastal Tour-$76.00 per person

• If you missed the "High Tide Kayak", you still have a chance to kayak for 1.5 hours as the Hopewell Rock formations are starting to show their full figure! For July 11th this tour starts at 2:55pm or 3:25 pm

Low Tide Experience

• After experiencing the high/mid tide on the water, stick around for low tide when you get to walk the beach floor! July 11th low tide is around 6:00pm

• One of North America’s finest beaches, Parlee boasts the warmest salt water in Canada and has been awarded the Blue Flag international eco-certification.

The World's Largest Lobster

• Shediac is recognized as "The Lobster Capital of the World" for its lobster fishing industry. For this reason, they made the world's largest lobster to commemorate that. The sculpture weighs around 90 tonnes, make sure to get a picture!

Euston Park

• If you fancy yourself a beer and a good ol'lobster roll, definitely give this "social beer garden" a taste!

• Classic Tall Ship built in New Zealand, specializing in providing a unique and memorable experience for children, adults and seniors. Ahoy! Cruise times 9:00am, 1:00pm, 4:45pm for 3.5 hour trips.

• This garden is open daily from 9am-6pm. Kingsbrae Garden is a multi-award winning 27 acre horticultural masterpiece located in beautiful St. Andrews by-the-Sea, New Brunswick. There is a restarant Sage on site where you can enjoy lunch or dinner with views of the garden

Ministers Island

• Only available during low-tide, drive across the ocean floor to visit the island. This unique island features the grand Van Horne estate, serene walking trails, and breathtaking coastal views. Explore its charm and experience an unforgettable blend of nature, history, and tranquility.

Block House 

• Step back to a time when southern friends became feared enemies, and clashes between the US and Great Britain penetrated borders during the War of 1812. St. Andrews Blockhouse was built by townspeople to protect them against American privateers and military

Historic Water Street

• About one half of the buildings within the original town plat are more than 100 years old – some more than 200! Walk back in time and look for the distinctive beige plaques placed by the Saint Andrews Civic Trust on historically significant homes (privately owned – please respect) and commercial buildings throughout the town. 

Sage

• Where the cuinary team creates artistically-inspired plates utilizing the freshest garden ingredients & products from all over New Brunswick. Sage offers an elegant, turn-of-the-century building, making it ideal for functions large and small, formal or relaxed.

Char and Chowder

• The cozy open-air setting of the restaurant, combined with the beautiful scenery of the Bay of Fundy, creates a relaxing ambiance that makes dining at Char and Chowder a truly unforgettable experience.

Balgove Larder

• This former sawmill clings to its rustic past with walls of potato boxes and rough hewn communal tables made of wind blown beech from the estate; all cut and made on the farm by our resident joiner. The menu: Steaks, hung for no less than 28 days, burgers and sausages made here in our butchery, all cooked to order on our massive wood-fired BBQ. Add twice fried chips, or crispy beer battered onion rings, wine and local beer and enjoy. Complete the experience a little something sweet and perhaps a wee espresso.

Walk the Harbour Passage

• Harbour Passage is a series of interconnected walking and biking trails, lookouts, and heritage sites that connect the north and west sides of the City to uptown. The cranberry trails provide views of Saint John Harbour and its active port.

Trinity Royal Heritage Preservation Area

• Wander through this picturesque district, known for its Victorian architecture and cobblestone streets. It's a perfect spot for a leisurely walk and to admire the historic buildings.

Cape Spencer Lighthouse

• The Cape Spencer Light is an active lighthouse along the Bay of Fundy in Mispec, located southeast of Saint John, New Brunswick. There have been several towers at this site: the first was a wooden house built in 1873, which was succeeded by a concrete tower in 1918

Reversing Falls Skywalk- Best time to visit is 3 hours after low tide

• A unique phenomenon created by the collision of the Bay of Fundy and the Saint John River. At low tide the river empties into the bay causing a series of rapids and whirlpools. As the tide rises, it slows the river current for a brief period—called slack tide
